This exhibition celebrates the unparalleled legacy of Maya Angelou—a visionary whose creativity, wisdom, and storytelling reshaped the world. From overcoming adversity to becoming the first Black woman recognized internationally for her literary genius, Angelou’s journey is one of resilience and inspiration. Through her poetry and prose, she not only shared her own story but empowered others to do the same. More than a master of words, she was a voice of truth, a force of change, and a beacon of artistry. This exhibition seeks to honor her impact, inviting audiences to experience the power of her words and the depth of
her influence.
For this project, I transformed Maya Angelou’s vibrant spirit into a dynamic, interactive exhibition designed to educate, empower, and inspire. To extend the experience, I created a souvenir box and an exhibition book featuring her most powerful poems. I also designed a compelling poster and logo to unify the exhibit’s identity. Through these elements, the exhibition honors Angelou’s enduring legacy, ensuring her brilliance continues to captivate and inspire.
