There are many stories in mythology, but none of them would exist without the beautiful muses. Goddesses are said to bring inspiration and ideation to the arts and sciences; they symbolize a key piece in making the world more vibrant. I decided to create cards for each of the nine muses and alter them for a more modern twist. These cards were chosen based on what each muse represents and symbolizes both mythologically and spiritually.
My approach was to design an interactive tarot card package inspired by the charm of a storybook. The packaging itself mirrors the aesthetic and structure of a classic book, inviting users into a narrative-driven experience. Inside, it includes a beautifully designed tarot deck, a companion book detailing the significance and meaning of each card, and a hidden compartment containing a surprise gift—adding an element of mystery and discovery to the journey.
